Past Term Registration Checking

ACEweb has the ability to prevent a student from registering in a course that they have previously taken.

  • You must be on ACEweb 3.5 with build .55 or higher
  • You will need to set the StopMultiReg setting in your aceweb.ini to "ON"

The catalog code (cocatcode) is the field that is “checked” against for previous registrations:

past reg catalog code check

So if enabled, a student will not be able to enroll in a course that has a matching catalog code from their past courses taken:

past reg checking cannot add course

ACEweb will display the remaining number of seats at that fee level:

fee limit seats remaining
