Firm Does Not Show on Report

If you see a firm on the Name record, e.g.:

But you do not see the firm value n a report that includes the firm,e.g. a mailing label:

This is caused when the name record was created via ACEweb and the user entered a firm that is not in your firm table (must be an EXACT match for ACEweb to associate the user with a firm).

You can fix this in one of 2 ways:

Go to the Name record, click into the Firm field then tab out. The system will bring up a list of firms for you to select from if it finds similar firms. If not, you can press the ESC key then create a new firm record:

You can modify the report and switch the field from fmfirm (pulls firm name from associated Firm record) to nmfirm (pulls firm name from Name record).
